Every Wednesday from May to the end of October, come to the Louis St. Parking Lot for the Peterborough Downtown Farmers’ Market. You’ll have the opportunity to buy the freshest fruit, vegetables, meats and dairy from Kawartha’s own. Vendors include everything from fruit & vegetable vendors, local meat & cheese vendors, pre-prepared foods, baked goods, artisans, honey & maple syrup, fresh cut flowers & plants and guest chefs. There are also special events held throughout the season and beautiful hand made crafts.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market runs from May to the end of October every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. If you aren’t familiar with the area, the Louis St. parking lot is located between Carlotte and King St., next to Shoppers Drug Mart. Hope to see you there!
