Description
This parade will commemorate the official opening of Trent in 1964 and recognize and thank the Peterborough Community for their support in the creation of Trent University.
The parade will run along Rubidge Street, beginning in front of Trinity United Church, and proceed along the roadway south for about 500 metres to the current Rubidge Retirement Home. At this location there will be a stage area to allow for a few presentations.
Please join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Trent University as we thank the community & citizens of Peterborough, which has so graciously been home to our school and students for the past 50 years.
