Juno award winning folk country band, The Good Lovelies will be performing a free show at this Wednesday’s Peterborough Musicfest concert.
The Good Lovelies signature three-part harmonies, constant instrument swapping and witty on-stage banter have enlivened the folk music world since they joined forces in 2006.
In addition to their acclaimed holiday album, Under the Mistletoe (2009), the Good Lovelies self-titled full-length album proved their blithe brand of folk music has year-round appeal, earning them the win for New Emerging Artist at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and a Juno for Roots Traditional Album of the Year.
