Get ready for a star-studded evening of entertainment with some of the world’s greatest Figure Skaters! Renowned Canadian figure skater, Elizabeth Manley will be hosting Past & Present Olympic Figure skaters, including 2014 Team Figure Skating Olympic Silver Medalists Kirsten Moore-Towers & Dylan Moscovitch, on our home ice here in Peterborough! The Elizabeth Manley & Friends Star-Studded Ice-Show event is happening April 5, 2014 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre… in support of Community Living Peterborough’s Home of Our Own Campaign.

Manley, 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist and World Silver Medalist, Three-time National Champion, and Member of the Order of Canada, has invited a number of her talented friends to bring some exciting action to the home stage at Peterborough’s Memorial Centre in what will be a unique combination of live music and skating. Joining Elizabeth at this star-studded event will be: Alan Frew of Glass Tiger – hit singles include “Someday,” “Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone”; Elvis Stojko – Two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, Three-time World Champion, Seven-time National Champion; Yuka Sato – 1994 Ladies World Champion, Two-time Japan National Champion, Gold medalist in Freestyle, 1992 & 1994 Olympic team member; Steven Cousins – Eight-time British National Champion, 1992, 1994 & 1998 Olympic team member, British World Competitor, Kirsten Moore-Towers & Dylan Moscovitch – 2014 Olympic Silver Medalists (Inaugural Team Figure Skating), 2013 & 2014 National Silver Medalists, 2011 Canadian National Champions, 2012 & 2013 U.S. International Classic Champions, World & Olympic Competitors; Elladj Balde – 2008 JR Canadian National Championship, 2013 Skate Canada Challenge Senior Men Champion, World Competitor & Olympic Alternate; and Gladys Orozco – Two time Mexico National Champion, World Competitor.
